Two blockbuster musical movies

The first 'Mamma Mia!' movie grossed in excess of $690 million worldwide

The 2008 jukebox musical boasted an all-star cast that included Christine Baranski, Pierce Brosnan, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgard, Meryl Streep and Julie Walters and was a hit everywhere it was shown.

The sequel, 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again', released in 2018, also made a tidy sum of $402 million.

Benny and Bjorn were in charge of the music for both films.

A third film is said to be in the works that will complete the trilogy.
