Elton performed with Axl Rose and Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert
During a Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992, the 'Tiny Dancer' hitmaker joined members of Queen and Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose for a surprising rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in honor of the late singer, who passed away in November 1991 at the age of 45.
Queen drummer Roger Taylor recalled to Classic RocK magazine: “I do remember being determined that we'd get Elton singing with Axl... because Axl never turned up for rehearsal. It was really flying by the seat of our pants.”
