Star Wars connections

Considering 'E.T.'s Steven Spielberg and 'Star Wars' visionary are best friends, it’s not too surprising they gave each other's franchises a nod in their movies.

In Spielberg's film, a child dressed as a Jawa to go Trick-or-Treating at Halloween can be spotted, whilst some aliens very similar to E.T. appear in one of the senate scenes in 1999's 'Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace'.
