In 'As Good As It Gets', Jack Nicholson played romance novelist Melvin Udall, who is living with severe OCD, and his odd and cantankerous ways mean he has few friends and alienates people.

However, his daily visits to the same restaurant lead to him developing feelings for his regular server Carol Connelly (Helen Hunt), the only waitress who will tolerate his eccentric and rude behavior.

Nicholson won his third Oscar - and second Best Actor Academy Award - for his performance in the comedy.
