Romance rumors

For the final two seasons, Courteney Cox joined the show as Lauren Miller, Alex Keaton’s girlfriend, and rumors began to spread that the actors were engaged in a “steamy affair” off-screen, just after Tracy Pollan’s Ellen Reed left the programme.

However, both stars insisted there relationship with nothing but professional.

Recalling the situation, Michael said: “People always want to read there's romance when it's just two actors having a good time working with each other. I'm having a great personal relationship with Tracy and a great professional relationship with Courteney.”

The ‘Friends’ star agreed, and emphasised the two never, ever dated.
