Linda Hamilton had her doubts

Although 'The Terminator' and the sequel 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' would go on to be the biggest movies in her career, Linda Hamilton was initially reluctant to play Sarah Connor, because she was "a snotty New York actress".

Linda was hesitant to appear alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, who she didn’t consider to be a particularly impressive actor.

She said: "Here's Arnold starring in this film, and my people are very excited, and I'm like, 'I don't know, I don't know, I'm gonna see for myself.'"

However, after watching the star in action, her opinion quickly changed.
