No cohesive story

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ are two of the most profitable movies of all time as they marked the culmination of a story that had been told over the course of 11 years.

But for Phase Five, there appears to be no over-arching plot whatsoever and zero connection between projects.

This is demonstrated by the character of Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) who appeared in both 'Secret Invasion' and 'The Marvels'.

However, there is no acknowledgement of how events in the two projects are linked.
