Lack of big stars
It can be argued that the MCU is lacking some star power.
With the trio of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) all having gone, the studio has struggled to find characters worthy of replacing them.
Downey Jr. was a key figure in the MCU's success but studio boss Kevin Feige has no plans to revive the character following his exit in 'Avengers: Endgame'.
He said: "We are going to keep that moment and not touch that moment again.
"We all worked very hard for many years to get to that, and we would never want to magically undo it in any way."
