Adventure Time

The hit animated series aired on Cartoon Network between 2010 and 2018 but it could have ended up on rival cartoon channel Nickelodeon.

Creator Pendleton Ward pitched a short to the network as a university student but they were not of the required quality.

He recalled: "Nickelodeon was taking pitches from Cal Arts students. And they didn't like it - my drawings were bad in school."
