Ivy Snitzer was Gwyneth Paltrow’s stunt double for the 2001 comedy film ‘Shallow Hal’ - in which the actress portrayed Rosie Shanahan, a woman who is actually 300 pounds but appears as slim to Hal Larson (Jack Black) who has been hypnotized to only see a person's inner beauty.

Snitzer told The Guardian that while she initially thought “it was just fun to be part of a movie she found herself being critizised by people for "promoting obesity".

She said: “I got really scared. I was like: ‘Maybe I’m done with the concept of fame, maybe I don’t want to be an actor. Maybe I’ll do something else’.”
