From fired science teacher to Hollywood director...

In Season One, Sabrina's biology teacher Eugene Poole was played by Paul Feig. He had hoped to stay on the show longer but was written out and quickly switched lanes to become a director, notably helming the 2011 comedy 'Bridesmaids'.

He said: "I look at 'Sabrina' fondly as being the thing that kicked me out of the nest and pushed me behind the camera, which I had been wanting to do but was too afraid to do. I will always be indebted to Sabrina even though they fired me!'
