Melinda Culea’s Triple A was written out
When you think of ‘The A-Team’, you think of the four soldiers of fortune, but Amy Amanda Allen ("Triple A") was a big part of Season 1.
Melinda Culea played "Triple A", a reporter-turned-ally of the team but she was dropped in Season 2.
It was believed that George Peppard took a disliking to her, with Melinda claiming that the entire cast had “ganged up on her” by the second season to get the producers to push her out.
It was also claimed that Melinda had pushed for a bigger role in the show, which ultimately spelled her doom.
She went on to star in the TV show ‘Glitter’ as well as feature in the likes of ‘The X-Files’ and ‘Star Trek” The Next Generation’.
The 68-year-old actress is now retired and lives with her husband Peter Markle, who directed her in the 1994 movie ‘Wagons East'.
