Led Zeppelin is born

Following his stint in The Yardbirds, Page co-founded Led Zeppelin in 1968.

Alongside Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and the late John Bonham, they became one of the best-selling music groups of all time, raking in worldwide sales of more than 200 million.

Sadly the 'Stairway To Heaven' band were no more as of 1980, following the tragic death of drummer John Bonham on September 25 that year, aged just 32. More on that in the next slide...
