Loose Women star Linda Robson 'worried' about losing her job at ITV - like 'everyone' else
Loose Women panellist Linda Robson is "worried" she will lose her job on the ITV1 lunchtime talk show, and is "praying" Loose Women will not be cancelled because of the broadcaster's budget cuts.

Linda Robson admits "everyone" at ITV is "worried" about losing their jobs due to the broadcaster's budget cuts.
ITV announced in May that it is set to axe over 220 jobs, as well as reduce the on-air time for Loose Women to 30 weeks instead of 52 weeks from 2026, and Lorraine operating on a 30-week "seasonal basis".
Linda - who made her Loose Women debut as a guest panellist in 2003, before being given a permanent role in 2012 - says everyone is "rallying together" and "trying to stay positive and hope for the best".
The 67-year-old star told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's a shame people are losing their jobs. We're all like a family.
"We've been together through births, marriages, deaths. It's been very hard.
"Everyone's worried. We're just trying to stay positive and hope for the best.
"But hopefully it's not going to be as bad as it already is [feared]."
On Tuesday (29.07.25), Linda's fellow Loose Women panellist Janet Street-Porter, 78, claimed there are "no plans" for ITV to axe older panellists on the ITV1 lunchtime talk show because the "audience totally relate to us" as opposed to the younger stars, including influencer GK Barry, 25, and Love Island star-turned-documentary maker Olivia Attwood, 34.
Janet - who is a freelancer, just like the other Loose Women panellists, meaning they could be let go at any moment - told the new issue of Bella magazine: "There are no plans to get rid of the older women, despite of what some people have said!
"In fact, the reverse is true. ITV actually put out a statement saying we are the valued members of the show because the audience totally relate to us.
"I think Loose Women has become a programme that's trusted by a lot of women because we talk about the issues that they are concerned about - whether it's female health, domestic violence or how politicians don't really understand working women.
"I think the show has managed to connect to women who wouldn't otherwise have a voice.
"And it's delivered with a lot of laughs because we don't take ourselves too seriously."
With Loose Women set to air for 30 weeks instead of 52 weeks from 2026, Linda is "praying" the show will not be cancelled altogether.
And it has been reported that Loose Women will not have A-list guests in the studio, as well as a live studio audience, when the budget cuts come into force next year.
Linda added: "It will be very sad if we can't have guests."
