Cara Delevingne

Despite the fact her agents told her not to, Cara Delevingne waved goodbye to her hair when she starred in 'Life in a Year'.

At an event in Cannes, the 31-year-old model-and-actress was adamant that it was important for her to shave off her hair in order to authentically portray a cancer patient.

She explained: "Before I even got the project, I said to the director, 'I want to shave my head for it.’ My agents and managers were like, 'Please don't! Why would you do that?'

"When it's a part like that, especially when it's about cancer. I needed to feel what it would be like to have no hair. The way you look, I think, it's so important to feel beautiful, no matter if you have hair. It doesn't matter at all."
