Trips are short lived
Whilst most people are envious of the jetsetter lifestyle of the royals, things aren’t what they seem.
Despite flying half way across the world to the land Down Under, the senior members of the family are almost always travelling to fulfil their duties and they rarely have time to enjoy the wonders of the world.
Royal tour reporter Gordon Rayner said: "Touring the world meeting heads of state and being shown cultural treasures sounds like a wonderful life.
“Yet I have no envy for the royal family. Their visits to world-famous sites rarely last more than 40 minutes.”
