The Jam

Paul Weller shocked the music world when he disbanded The Jam in 1982 with the indie group riding high at the top of the charts.

In 2008, frontman Weller was offered £1 million to reunite with his bandmates Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler.

He said: "I was offered a million quid and I turned it down. Everyone has the old records anyway, so if they are searching for a bit of nostalgia then let them do that.”
