The ‘WAP’ hitmaker, 31, cited the Black Lives Matter movement - paticularly highlighting the NFL’s response to American Football player Colin Kaepernick, 35, taking a knee in protest against systemic racism in the United States - as to why she was not keen on “participating” in the annual Super Bowl Half Time Show in 2019.

A rep for her said at the time: “There (were) talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement.”
