Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller

Fashion legend Diane von Furstenberg, 76, proposed to her partner Barry Diller, 81, after turning down multiple proposals from him.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Diane admitted that she always knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. So, one day, before Barry’s birthday, she decided it was time to take the next step as she didn’t know what to gift him.

She recalled: "I called him and said, ‘You know, if you want, for your birthday I'll marry you.'"

Barry joked and answered: “Let me see if I can arrange it."

They have been wed since 2001!
