The ‘Anywhere’ singer, 32, and the ‘Jojo Rabbit’ director, 48, tied the knot in 2022, in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home. Speaking to Vogue, Rita revealed that she was the one who proposed to him during a sunshine break in Palm Springs, and Taika “said ‘yes’ instantly".

In another interview with Glamour UK, she spilled: "No real getting down on one knee. It was more like, 'I want to marry you. Let's just do it.'"
