When Chris Evans had to shoot a scene in an animal shelter for 'Gifted', he "foolishly" thought he wouldn't fall for any of the pets - but then he met Dodger.

He told PEOPLE magazine: "I was walking up and down the aisles and saw this one dude and he didn’t belong there. I snagged him and he’s such a good dog."

Speaking in 2017, he revealed how he and Dodger exercise, play and sleep together.

He added: "He’s up for anything. God dogs, they’re such great animals. I really can’t say enough about dogs, I’m a dog lunatic. He sleeps on my pillow, you wake up face-to-face.”
