John Travolta

Now called Peanut, the adorable pup was introduced to the world as Mac and Cheese as part of a tribute to Betty White at the Academy Awards in March 2022.

During the segment, Jamie Lee Curtis urged those present and watching at home to follow White's example by adopting an animal.

After the show, John Travolta fell in love with the dog and decided to do just that, sharing a photo of himself, his son Ben and their four legged friend on Instagram.

He wrote: "Ben adopted this dog from last nights Oscar tribute to Betty White. Thank you @curtisleejamie and @pawworks"
