The 'Harry Potter' author went viral in 2020 when she claimed that only women can menstruate and insisted that "biological sex is real."

She tweeted: "People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?"

Since then, Rowling has become a staunch activist for women's rights and still continues to be a controversial figure to the transgender community today.
