Elton John remembers his friend at Glastonbury
Sir Elton John headlined Glastonbury on Sunday night (25.06.23) and took a moment to remember his late friend on what would've been his 60th birthday.
Before performing his song 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me!' - which he and George first duetted on at the Live Aid concert in 1985 - Elton said: "George Michael, my friend, my inspiration. Today would have been his 60th birthday and so I want to dedicate this song to his memory. All of the music he left us with, which is so gorgeous. This is for you, George."
