'I wanted to be FILTHY famous!'
In the years before he became George Michael, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou used to busk on the London Underground, where he would entertain commuters by performing rock songs by Queen.
He said: "I had two very strong ambitions and they’ve always fought against one another. One was a passion for music and an ability to communicate through music … and two was this desire to be… filthily famous."
