Charlize Theron
In 2003, Charlize Theron won the Best Actor Oscar for her portrayal of real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos in ‘Monster’. But three years prior to her greatest achievement, Charlize starred in John Frankenheimer’s crime thriller ‘Reindeer Games’, which she considers to be one of her worst ever movies.
In an interview with Esquire in 2008, Charlize - who starred alongside Ben Affleck in the film - said: “That was a bad, bad, bad movie. But even though the movie might suck, I got to work with John Frankenheimer. I wasn't lying to myself - that's why I did it. I mean, he directed ‘The Manchurian Candidate’, which is like the movie of all movies."
