Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has revealed Taylor Swift was "schooling" him on football when the pair say next to each other at a Kansas City Chiefs game on Tuesday (15.09.26).

The Hollywood actor was seen sitting next to the pop singer as she cheered on her new husband Travis Kelce, whose team took on the Denver Broncos at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri - and Tom has now revealed what they were talking about.
The Mission: Impossible star explained Taylor was talking him through the game as his football knowledge is a bit rusty. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host asked him: "When the biggest movie star in the world is sitting next to the biggest artist in the world, what do you talk about?"
Tom then explained: "She was schooling me on football ... For real. She was bringing the football. First of all, she's a genius. I've been following her since she was a kid. Everybody there, all their friends, they're a beautiful couple and magical in their own right ... and everybody there in that booth.
"I hadn't been to a football game since pre-COVID, where I was working and everything. So to get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot ... She knows her stuff."
Taylor previously admitted she didn't know much about football until she started dating NFL player Travis and Tom revealed the singer had spoken to him about being taught the rules by her now-husband.
Tom - who was among the famous faces invited to Taylor and Travis' lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City back in July -shared: "She knew nothing about football when she met Travis ... She said: 'He's so patient'. I said: 'I'm sure he was.' I think everybody would be very patient [with her] ... She knows [now]."
The movie star added the pair also talked about movies and music during the game and he enjoys her sense of humour.
He said of Taylor: "[We talked about] music and movies. She's so funny. She's got such a great sense of humour. A brilliant writer also, by the way. Brilliant musician and director. Very skilled."
