The Shards actress - who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber - believes she was "haunted [her] whole life" but she was "all healed" after being subjected to the spiritual ritual to rid her body of the spirit inside her.
Speaking on the Mitch Churi Chat Show, the 24-year-old star said: "I was told I was possessed as a child...
“I do feel I attract beings from other dimensions in a very casual and chill way."
Noting she "actually did" have an exorcism to ward off evil spirits, she added:“Do you know how they did the exorcism? They played a didgeridoo all over me! That’s how they did the exorcism. … That actually did happen. I’ve never talked about it, but it actually did happen.
"I'm all healed."
Kaia also revealed her supermodel mom sent her to the set of American Horror Story season 10 with a bottle of holy water for protection.
She admitted: “My mom gave me holy water to go to set.
“She was like, ‘I don’t want you to get possessed.’ "
Kaia recently spoke of how she has suffered from "disordered eating" and admitted to feeling pressure amid Hollywood's current preference for women to look "very thin", as well as constant comparisons to her supermodel mom.
She told America's Vogue magazine: "I’ve had disordered eating in my life. People are like, ‘You look terrible,’ and it doesn’t exactly make you go, ‘Oh, good. Let me get over this mental illness then!’
“Negativity has never saved someone’s life.
“We’re clearly in one of those cycles right now where people are very, very, very thin. As someone who’s been thin most of my life, I’ve always been compared against my mom — like, ‘What’s wrong with Kaia?'
“I’m so jealous of my mom’s body. I would have loved to be born with boobs and a butt. People have always commented on my body, which is hard because I’m not always ready to comment on my own body, you know?”
The Shards star has previously dated the likes of Austin Butler and Jacob Elordi but has done her best to keep her current relationship with Lewis Pullman, who she has been romancing for two years, more private because she has found the scrutiny on her personal life "challenging".
She said: “There are so few things you get to protect as a famous person, and being defined by who you date when you’re 18 is something I find challenging.
“I think I’ve been labelled in ways that are quite misogynistic: serial dater, s***, greedy.
“I think the ultimate goal is that your relationship doesn’t change you, that you’re not code switching between relationship, friendship, professional life.
"I would love to always feel like me, and in this relationship I’m having the pleasure of doing that.”
