Lili Reinhart was told to "suck in her stomach" by a male director.

The 29-year-old actress - who has been open about her struggles with body dysmorphia - was asked to recall an "acting note that you took personally" during a conversation with her Forbidden Fruits co-stars Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp and Lola Tung.

In the video for Cosmopolitan, she said: "When I had a male director come up to me and silently lean over and go, ‘Just suck in your stomach a little bit.’ "

Her castmates were shocked, as Lola joked it was "time for a hex", while they wanted her to name and shame the director in question.

Victoria said: "Oh my God. What is his name? And what is his address?"

Lili - who didn't specify the film or TV show in question - insisted she would tell her co-stars in private after the interview.
