Authorities investigating the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mother Nancy have confirmed they are currently working on the belief she is "alive".

The Today show host's 84-year-old mother has been missing since February 1, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI investigating her disappearance.
On Wednesday (11.02.26), the sheriff's department told PEOPLE magazine that the investigation "is still operating" on the belief "Nancy is alive".
Earlier in the day, FBI Phoenix also gave an update on the ongoing search, which is on its 11th day.
They said in a statement on X: "This morning, numerous FBI agents are conducting an extensive search alongside multiple roadways in the Catalina Foothills area related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
"We are asking the media and motorists to follow all traffic laws and to remain especially cautious when passing law enforcement personnel near the roadways.
"We appreciate the assistance and support we have received from the Tucson community.
"The FBI continues to offer a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie."
Anyone with any tips is urged to submit them to the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
The Pima County Sheriff's office recently released images and a video of a person with a hat over their face wearing gloves, with the figure appearing to have tampered with a camera at the victim's front door.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos wrote on X: "Working with our partners — as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance."
