Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt release statement on co-parenting
The former couple have confirmed they have reached a co-parenting agreement for their young daughter, saying they remain committed to raising her together despite ending their relationship.

The former couple confirmed they have reached a co-parenting agreement just two months after ending their relationship.
Comedian and actor Pete, 32, best known for his years on Saturday Night Live and more recently the semi-autobiographical comedy Bupkis, began dating model and actor Elsie Hewitt, 30, in March 2025. The couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie Rose, in December 2025 before announcing the birth on Instagram a week later.
They separated five months after becoming parents but have now confirmed they will continue to share parenting responsibilities.
Their new statement on parenting was issued through their representatives to Page Six, after reports in recent months documented Pete spending time with Scottie in New York City and supporting both his former partner and daughter financially following the separation.
In a joint statement provided to Page Six, Pete and Elsie said: “We are cooperatively co-parenting our daughter whose well-being remains our top priority, and we are fully committed to working together to give her love from both of us.”
A source also told Page Six the former couple had reached a joint agreement regarding Scottie’s upbringing.
Pete and Elsie introduced their daughter to fans shortly after her birth by sharing a series of family photographs on Instagram.
Elsie wrote: “My best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”
Pete added: “Wu tang forever.”
The couple chose not to reveal Scottie’s face publicly, covering it with a white heart emoji in each photograph.
Since the separation, Pete has been photographed spending time with his daughter, including taking Scottie for walks in a stroller through a New York City park.
According to Page Six, a source previously said Pete had continued paying expenses connected to both Elsie and Scottie following the split.
The source said: “They may have split but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place.”
Pete also spent Father’s Day with Scottie and his mother, Amy Waters Davidson, according to People, with the family visiting the American Museum of Natural History on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
Elsie recently marked another family milestone by celebrating Scottie turning seven months old with photographs shared on Instagram showing the pair wearing matching pink gingham outfits during a picnic.
She wrote: “7 months of scottie the love of my life.”
Scottie’s name carries particular significance for Pete as she is named after his late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, the New York City firefighter who was killed while responding to the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001.
Pete has frequently spoken throughout his career about the profound impact his father’s death had on his life and comedy, with the loss explored in projects including The King of Staten Island.
Rose is Elsie’s middle name.
Pete remains one of comedy’s most recognisable figures following eight seasons on Saturday Night Live, while his recent acting work has included Bupkis, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and The Pickup.
