Holly Willoughby longed to have another baby and felt "jealous" of friends who were getting pregnant in their 40s.

The 45-year-old TV star has three children - Harry, 17, Belle, 15 and Chester, 11 - with her husband Dan Baldwin and she opened up about her desire to become a mother again during an episode of her new YouTube show Together as she chatted with comedian Katherine Ryan, who welcomed a daughter last year at the age of 42.

Holly confessed she felt envious when she heard Katherine was having another baby because she can feel her own children "pulling away" as they grow up. Holly said: "I feel the pulling away and I find it really hard, I find that bit really, really difficult. My kids are like the best thing that I've done, they're the best thing, I just look at them and I go, 'Well done'.

"They are pretty brilliant, but they are now getting teenagery and I'm like okay you're going to go and have a life without me."

Katherine then joked: "You need to have a baby."

However, Holly is convinced she's run out of time to become a mother again, saying: "I feel like that ship has sailed."

She added: "When I heard you were pregnant and having another one, I was like: 'Maybe I should, maybe I should'. I was so like jealous that you were doing it because I was like: 'I should have done it' ... "

Holly then laughed: "Will you carry my child for me? Will you be my surrogate? You're really good at it."

During the episode, Holly also opened up about feeling "terrified" about voicing an opinion in public over fears it would lead to a backlash.

The former This Morning host said: "'I'm so terrified to have an opinion on anything, I definitely don't like upsetting anybody, I think I've always been like that.

"I do think that the nature of what I do, you like to see both sides of anything, of any argument and then what happens is you don't end up really having an opinion on anything as you see both sides of everything. Which is tricky.

"And also I think I'm probably so terrified to say anything wrong because if you get it wrong the backlash is so huge, right?"

Holly also confessed her public image got a bashing in 2013 when she was pictured drunk outside a London bar back in 2013.

She said: "I got busted because I got really p***** and sat outside a bar round the King's Road way. I got really p***** and completely forgot the run of myself and I was sat outside and there's this photo of me with Champagne in a bucket, talking to my friend, this blonde hair, red lips and I'm like Patsy from Ab Fab [TV show Absolutely Fabulous]."
