Brian Conley couldn’t believe he was trending on social media during the WWE Royal Rumble
Comedian-actor Brian Conley was surprised and thrilled in equal measure to discover he had gone viral during the WWE Royal Rumble live event on Saturday (01.02.26) when commentator Wade Barrett shouted “it’s a puppet” as Mr. Iguana entered the ring with his plush lizard La Yesca.
Brian Conley couldn’t believe he was trending on social media during the WWE Royal Rumble when his comedy catchphrase “it’s a puppet” was shouted out on commentary.
Conley would say those words as his character Nick Frisbee would hit his sidekick Larry the Loafer on his ‘90s sketch series The Brian Conley Show.
During the battle royale wrestling match in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night (01.02.26), British commentator Wade Barrett used the catchphrase as Mexican wrestler Mr. Iguana entered the ring with his plush lizard La Yesca, much to the delight and surprise of Conley.
