Bad Bunny wants his future self to be "happy" and "retired".

The 31-year-old singer - who will be performing this year's Super Bowl halftime show - has reflected on his very relaxed hopes for the coming years.

Asked to describe his life in the future in just five words, he told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert: "Happy, retired, eating, tripletas, living in Puerto Rico."

A tripletas in a Puerto Rican sandwich which features steak, pork and ham on toasted bread, typically topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and potato chips.

Bunny opened up during the Colbert Quetisonert section of the show, during which he was also asked about his earliest memory.

Going back to the age of four, he recalled: "I remember I used to watch a picture of a girl. It was in a book.

"My mom had a book, like a picture book. There was a picture of a girl and she was my crush."

He admitted he never knew who she was, and he "used to cry for that".

The Dakiti hitmaker recently fired back at critics over his upcoming Super Bowl performance, insisted that his fans "all around the world" will be "happy" to see him at the NFL showpiece.

Speaking in Spanish, he added: "Especially all of the Latinos and Latinas in the world here in the United States who have worked to open doors.

"It's more than a win for myself, it's a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to take away or erase it."

He quipped: "If you didn't understand what I just said. You have four months to learn."

Critics of the decision include US President Donald Trump, who recently reiterated his opposition.

He told the New York Post newspaper; "I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible."
