Rick Sky speaks in an exclusive interview with Emin Aras oghlu Agalarov about the launch of his new album.
One of the hottest showbiz parties of the year will take place at the luxurious Bulgari Hotel in London's plush Knightsbridge on Tuesday (27.01.26).
The party is for the launch of popstar Emin's album, Maybe Tomorrow (out 27th March), a curated collection of his favourite songs, arranged and produced by 16-time GRAMMY Award-winning music legend David Foster.
Emin is based in the faraway country of Azerbaijan.
Emin - who is the number one pop star in Azerbaijan and is now rapidly making his mark around the world - has recorded many songs and enjoyed multimillion sales.
This latest album features a selection of standards in which he duets with other singers, including Amanda Holden, Andrea Corr, Richard Marx and Sheila E.
Emin told me when I interviewed him at the Sea Breeze Resort he owns in Azerbaijan: "So far, I have only met [Amanda] on video calls. I had obviously heard of her before, but I did some research after.
"And the song, which is Somethin' Stupid, I think it's brilliant. I mean, you know, some people either love it or they don't care about it. But I think the way we delivered it, it's a nice listen.
"Also, Amanda is super cool. She's an amazing singer and she delivered it. For her, the song is nothing. It was easy. It's not a struggle. It's easy. Iām really looking forward to seeing Amanda in the flesh."
