One of the ultimate honors for any celebrity is to be turned into a Barbie by the toy giant.

From Jennifer Lopez to Marilyn Monroe find out who were made into fantastic plastic...

Elvis Presley

The late King of Rock and Roll died in 1977 and the age of 42 but Mattel decided to honour him by transforming their flagship toy into his likeness more than 50 years later in 2021 as part of their Barbie Signature collection.

Marilyn Monroe

The late Hollywood icon was one of the first celebrities to be honored by Mattel as part of their Hollywood Legends Collection in 1997, along with the likes of 'The Wizard of Oz' star Judy Garland. Here, Barbie is dressed as Marilyn - who died in 1962 at the age of 36 - in her famous white dress from 'The Seven Year Itch'.

Zendaya

Zendaya had yet to conquer the world of Hollywood when she was fresh off her Disney Channel show 'Shake It Up' in 2015 but Mattel honoured her with a Barbie in her likeness and she was very impressed with the time and effort put into her mini-me.

She said: "The hair was obviously so important to me. They took their time and they made it perfect."

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon played sorority girl-turned-lawyer Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde' and to promote its 2003 sequel, the actress was turned into a Barbie wearing her all-pink outfit from the film. At the time, Mattel said the gesture was the "ultimate tribute to this icon of feminine style".

Jenifer Lopez

The 'Jenny from the Block' hitmaker got her own version of the plastic doll in 2013 and the makers even used a new mould to recreate her famous derrière.

J.Lo said at the time: "I wanted to live in Barbie's world, I wanted to be Barbie. I think Barbie represents infinite possibilities."
