Kim Kardashian has revealed she invited her former husband Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori to spend Christmas with their children – and intends to extend the invitation again despite years of difficulties in their relationship.

The reality television star and Skims founder, 46, discussed her attempts to maintain family contact in Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, a biography by Jonathan Van Meter.

Kim, who shares four children with Kanye, 49, said she offered to let the rapper and Bianca, 31, stay at her home over Christmas in 2025 and plans to repeat the invitation this year.

The comments come amid reports of her relationship with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, 41.

Kim said: “Last Christmas, I said, ‘Sleep over on Christmas Eve. Bring your girlfriend’. I’m easy! ‘Let’s all do Christmas together‘.”

She added: “And I’ll recommend it again this year.”

The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said her priority was ensuring that their children – North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven – could spend time with their father.

Kim added: “I will sweep everything under the rug, all the horrible things he has said about me, so that the kids can see their father.”

The businesswoman, who married Kanye in 2014 before filing for divorce in 2021, explained she sometimes offers to leave her home so that the rapper can spend time there with the children.

Kim said: “I’m always like, ‘Oh, Dad’s traveling’.”

She continued: “I still make up stories and protect [the kids] because I want them to think their dad is the greatest. But I invite him over all the time. ‘Do you want to come to dinner? I’ll leave the house. Come and have dinner with the kids in their house so that they can feel comfy. Sleep over for a few nights?’”

According to the biography, Kim communicates with Kanye primarily through Bianca and his manager, rather than speaking directly to him.

Kanye, who also performs under the name Ye, married Bianca in a private ceremony in California in 2022, the same year his divorce from Kim was finalised.

The rapper, whose best-known songs include Gold Digger, Stronger and Flashing Lights, has repeatedly spoken publicly about disagreements over parenting arrangements since the separation.

Kim said she continues to worry about him despite the breakdown of their marriage.

She added: “Oh, I worry about [Kanye] all day.”

Kim also said: “All the time. That’s the father of my kids, I’ll never not worry about him.”

She acknowledged their differences had made raising their children more complicated, while saying she tries to keep disagreements away from them.

Kim said: “And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with. My kids would never know that.”

She continued: “I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened.”

Kim added: “But we manage to co-parent without too much conflict.”

The couple’s marital difficulties were documented during the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the E! reality series that followed Kim and her family between 2007 and 2021.

Kim subsequently appeared in its successor, The Kardashians, on Hulu and Disney+, while expanding her business interests through Skims and pursuing acting roles.

She appeared in American Horror Story: Delicate alongside Emma Roberts, 35, and later starred in the legal drama All’s Fair, created by Ryan Murphy, 60.

Kim’s personal life has also attracted attention following reports linking her romantically with seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis.

The pair have been associated with one another since early this year.
