Jamie Foxx was 'on the fence' about fatherhood
Jamie Foxx has shared his doubts about becoming a dad again.
Jamie Foxx was "a little on the fence" about becoming a dad again at 58.
The Hollywood star - who already has Corinne, 32, with Connie Klein, as well as Anelise, 17, with Kristin Grannis - has shared his thoughts about welcoming another baby with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
Jamie - who will turn 59 in December - told E! News: "Being my age, I was a little on the fence. But then I ran into Al Pacino a few months ago."
The actor then joked that Pacino - who welcomed his fourth child at age 83 - helped to calm his fears about having another baby.
He quipped: "I said, ‘Al, you gonna be back in the drop off line?’ I said, aw man, shoot I’m good."
Corinne has worked with Jamie on Beat Shazam, the musical game show, for the last eight years, and she's full of praise for her dad.
The actress shared: "I grew up going to set with my dad and watching him work from behind the camera. But then to be his co-worker and the level of professionalism but also, he’s so light and so funny."
Corinne has learned a huge amount from her dad, too.
She said: "I just feel like I learned that you don’t have to be so serious to be great at your job. You kind of set the tone for everybody on set and he does a great job doing that."
Jamie previously explained that his daughters take priority over everything and everybody in his life.
The actor admitted that it's easy to get carried away by glitz and glamour of the movie business - but he's now firmly dedicated to his daughters.
He told Access Hollywood: "You interview a lot of people who are in this crazy business and consistently trying to keep their family as normal as they can … I used to be a guy that was dedicated to the Hollywood [mentality of] 'Let's have fun all the time.' But now everything I do I consistently think of my two daughters."
