Josh Duhamel is a dad again
Josh Duhamel and wife Audra Mari have welcomed their baby girl into the world.
Josh Duhamel has become a father for the third time.
The 53-year-old actor and wife Audra Mari are delighted to have welcomed a little girl, who they have named Rocca de Leon Duhamel, into the world, a sister for their two-year-old son Shepherd and Josh's 12-year-old son Axl, who he has with ex-wife Fergie.
The couple shared a joint Instagram post featuring a carousel of images of the new arrival and simply wrote: "Rocca de Leon Duhamel
our baby girl is here (sic)"
Although they didn't share when the tot was born, a hospital tag seen on the baby's wrist on on one of the photos bore the date 05/05/26.
A few weeks ago, the Transformers actor shared his excitement about being a "girl dad" for the first time.
He told E! News "I don't know what to make of it.
"I'm just so [excited] ... I cannot wait to meet her. And I think there's something about dads and their little girls. It's different, you know?"
Josh recently opened up about the couple's relationship prior to their marriage in 2022 - revealing they first met during a barbecue at his house and he ruled out dating her because of the 21-year age gap between them.
Josh made the confession during an appearance on The Skinny Confidential podcast, saying: "We had a barbecue at my house .. "She and I had been in contact because I knew she was from North Dakota, she'd done really, really well in Miss USA [beauty pageant]. I wasn't even inviting her because I wanted to date her because she was too young for me to be honest.
"I wasn't looking for [that]. I'm not going to be that dude. So I invited her and she comes to the door and I'm like: 'Holy s***. [She's] so beautiful.'
"I was still like: 'No, no, no'."
However, Josh was won over by Audra after seeing the way she interacted with the children at the barbecue - admitting she came across as "really wholesome" and reminded him of "home".
He added: "I remember her taking care of these kids at the party, making sure they had enough [to eat] and I was like that reminds me of home and the kind of girl I want to really be with.
"And I'd gone through a couple of relationships with girls here in LA and it just wasn't the same. There's something really wholesome about it and I think that was when I was like: 'Maybe she's not too young' ... Maybe I am that dude. I don't know. "
He went on to add: "[Now] we have a two year old ... [We've been married for] three years and we've been together for like seven ... "
