LeAnn Rimes offers health update as she postpones more shows
LeAnn Rimes has delayed two more concerts on her tour due to "severe laryngitis".
LeAnn Rimes has cancelled more concerts due to her ongoing health problems.
The 43-year-old singer announced earlier this week that her gigs in Spokane, Washington, and Seattle on Thursday (30.04.26) and Friday (01.04.26) respectively would be postponed, and she has now pulled the plug on two more shows as she is battling "severe laryngitis" following a bout of COVID-19.
LeAnn announced on her Instagram Story: “After a diagnosis of covid leading to severe laryngitis, I’m so sorry to have to reschedule next week’s shows.
“A visit to my doctor for a scope of my vocal cords has confirmed the news and I wanted to tell you as soon as I could...
“It breaks my heart, having to schedule these shows. There is no place I would rather be next week than celebrating with all of you.
“However, this is sadly out of my hands until I get this under control.”
Concerts in Waukegan, Illinois and Wilmington, Ohio have now been rescheduled for November 6 and 7, respectively. Tickets for the previous dates remain valid, but refunds are available for those who cannot make the new dates.
LeAnn noted: "I look forward to seeing you all soon."
The Can't Fight the Moonlight hitmaker ended her message by "sending all [her] love" to her fans.
The update came two days after LeAnn postponed the Spokane and Seattle shows to May 31 and June 2 due to "severe illness"
She wrote on her Instagram Story earlier this week: " Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel + perform this week. I'm so sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled.
"Also, good news, as we will be seeing you very soon!
"I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule, and I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover. I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon. Love, LeAnn.(sic)"
Last week, LeAnn and her 52-year-old husband, actor Eddie Cibrian's 15th wedding anniversary, which was "filled with tears and worry" as "very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family".
The I Need You singer penned on Instagram: "We got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family. It’s been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours. (sic)"
LeAnn is "so grateful" to have Eddie in her life.
She added: "Day by day, we walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life… and god, I’m so grateful that it’s with each other. We’ve been through so much in our 15 years as husband and wife.
"We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. I’m so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning. #hallelujah #happyanniversary #cabo

Eddie - who married LeAnn at a private home in California in 2011 - also took to Instagram to mark the couple's 15th wedding anniversary.
He posted: "Still burning after 15 years."
