Jessica Sutta breaks silence after being left out of Pussycat Dolls reunion
Jessica Sutta has explained why she has sat out the Pussycat Dolls reunion and claims she was snubbed when she reached out to the returning trio.
Jessica Sutta has addressed her absence from the newly announced Pussycat Dolls reunion.
The 43-year-old singer posted a lengthy statement on Instagram on Saturday (14.03.26), thanking supporters and explaining why she is not part of the group’s latest chapter.
Jessica began by acknowledging the messages she has received from fans, writing: “First of all, I want to thank everyone who has reached out with messages of support. I truly appreciate the kindness.”
She then clarified that she had no plans to return to the group under its current circumstances, adding: “I was never planning to return under the current circumstances, and unfortunately I’m still unable to dance due to ongoing health issues. Because of that, the recent news was difficult for me.”
She went on to explain that she had attempted to contact the three returning members - Nicole Scherzinger, 47, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, both 44 - privately before the announcement of their reunion tour and new music.
Jessica said she wanted fans to understand the timeline behind the scenes: “When rumors about the three girls began circulating, I did try to reach out privately for several months. I didn’t receive a response until the night before the announcement, which meant I didn’t have much time to prepare for the reaction that followed online.”
She also revealed she has been grieving the loss of her mother while managing a neurological condition that can cause severe pain when triggered by stress, noting that “the intensity of the online response has been challenging.”
Addressing a line in the reunion press release, Jessica said she found it important to correct the narrative.
She explained: “I found it ironic that the press release suggested we wanted ‘attention.’ The truth is, I wanted the exact opposite. The stress from situations like this causes real physical flare-ups for me. Do you think I want to be verbally attacked by strangers online? I simply would have appreciated a heads-up earlier so I could process everything privately and handle the situation with a bit more grace and dignity.”
Despite the emotional strain, Jessica ended her message with support for her former bandmates.
She told fans: “That said, I genuinely wish the girls a successful tour and nothing but the best moving forward. I’m grateful for the experiences and memories I had with PCD, and I’ll always hold that chapter of my life close to my heart.”
She closed her statement by reflecting on her priorities today, writing: “I’ve moved on with my life from Hollyweird and I know what’s most important. A loving family, good health, beautiful friendships, speaking your truth, lots of laughter and internal peace. And if we are really being honest, you can’t trip on what’s behind you. Good luck, ladies. All love.”
Carmit Bachar, 51, and Melody Thornton, 41, are also not part of the lineup.
