Kylie Jenner is "phenomenal" in The Moment, according to Charli XCX.

The 33-year-old singer stars in The Moment, a new mockumentary directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri that was inspired by Charli’s real-life music tour, and she's heaped praise on Kylie, who has a cameo role in the project.

Charli told Deadline: "The sort of people who are playing themselves, as you mentioned Kylie, she was just phenomenal. She totally got the assignment. She is a really great actress."

A host of famous faces appear in the new mockumentary, including the likes of Kylie, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou , Hailey Benton Gates and Alexander Skarsgard, and Charli has heaped praise on the star-studded cast.

The chart-topping singer said: "Rachel [Sennott] as well, who is playing herself, also incredible. There’s a little Julia Fox cameo moment in there too … Bringing all of these amazing people into the world was just so fabulous."

Meanwhile, Charli recently confessed to being "quite a volatile person".

The singer - who married drummer George Daniel in 2025 - also revealed how she relates to her on-screen character in The Moment.

Speaking at the Sundance Film Festival, Charli shared: "I'm obviously quite related to my character, so I had a lot of inspiration to pull from.

"I would like to think I'm not as much of a nightmare as Charli in the film, but my real managers are in the audience and they probably know the true answer to that."

Charli observed that her on-screen character experiences some "spiral moments" in the movie. And the pop star compared and contrasted her real-life self to her on-screen character.

The singer - who enjoyed huge success with her Brat album back in 2024 - said: "I have been there. I think I am, as an artist, quite a volatile person. And nice though. I am quite nice too. Right?"
