Kylie Jenner ‘ready to marry’ Timothée Chalamet
The Kylie Cosmetics founder is said to be hoping for a proposal after three years with the Dune actor, while reports suggest her sister’s blossoming romance with Jacob Elordi has added to her frustration over their differing marriage timelines.
Kylie Jenner is reportedly hoping to marry Timothée Chalamet after three years together – but the Hollywood actor is said to be reluctant to rush into an engagement despite their increasingly serious relationship.
The beauty entrepreneur, 29, who began dating the Dune star, 30, in 2023, is said to have made it clear she wants marriage to be part of their future.
However, according to sources speaking to Page Six, Timothée is not yet ready to propose, with the couple said to have different expectations about when they should take the next step.
An insider told Page Six: “Kylie is ready to get engaged and has made it pretty clear to Timothée that she sees marriage in their future.”
The source added: “She’s not giving him ultimatums or demanding a ring, but she’s definitely making her feelings known and hoping he’ll get there sooner rather than later.”
The source also claimed Kylie’s hopes for an engagement had created additional pressure on the Oscar-nominated actor.
They said: “It’s putting some pressure on Timothée to take that next step.”
Despite the reported difference in their expectations, the insider maintained Timothée remained committed to the relationship.
They said: “Timothée loves Kylie and is very much invested in their relationship, but he’s simply not there yet.”
The source added: “There’s a feeling that if he were to propose anytime soon, it would be more because of the pressure he’s feeling rather than because he’s genuinely ready.”
Kylie, who founded Kylie Cosmetics and rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has been one of the most prominent members of the Kardashian-Jenner family since appearing on the reality programme as a child.
She now stars alongside her relatives in Hulu’s The Kardashians, which follows their personal lives, relationships and business ventures.
The entrepreneur also has two children, Stormi and Aire, with her former partner, rapper Travis Scott, 35.
Timothée, meanwhile, has established himself as one of Hollywood’s leading actors through films including Call Me by Your Name, Little Women, Wonka and the Dune franchise.
He also portrayed musician Bob Dylan, 85, in the biographical drama A Complete Unknown, earning another Academy Award nomination for his performance.
The latest reports also suggest that Kylie has been comparing the progress of her relationship with that of her older sister Kendall Jenner, 30.
Kendall has recently been romantically linked to Australian actor Jacob Elordi, 29, who is best known for playing Nate Jacobs in HBO’s Euphoria and starring in Saltburn, Priscilla and Frankenstein.
According to Page Six, Kylie is experiencing “some jealousy and frustration” over the possibility Kendall could become engaged before her, despite having been in a relationship with Timothée for considerably longer.
An insider told the outlet: “What really bothers Kylie is the possibility of Kendall getting engaged before her, despite being in a much newer relationship.”
The source also claimed that Jacob “is completely all in with Kendall”, while Kylie and Timothée “still have a more fun and carefree dynamic”.
Kendall and Jacob were recently photographed together at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on 17 October.
During the event, Jacob was seen taking photographs of Kendall as she posed for photographers, while the pair were also spotted spending time together at the gala and its after-party.
Kylie also made headlines this month when she made her runway debut at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, wearing the brand’s Fantasy Bra.
Timothée attended the event to support his girlfriend, attracting attention for his return to his familiar curly hairstyle after changing his appearance for his role in Dune: Part Three.
The couple have also made several high-profile appearances together during Timothée’s recent awards campaigns.
In January, the actor publicly thanked Kylie after winning best actor at the Critics Choice Awards for his performance in Marty Supreme.
Timothée said: “And lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
He also acknowledged her while accepting a Golden Globe for the same film, before the couple attended the Bafta Film Awards together in London in February.
