Kendra Wilkinson is finally feeling "mentally healthy" after finding "peace" in her life.

The 39-year-old reality star shot to fame as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and featured on 'The Girls Next Door' in the late 2000s but later went into real estate and Kendra has now admitted stepping back from her career to focus on raising her two children helped her strike the right balance.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Yes, I’ve gained weight. Yes, I'm ageing. Yes, I’m not that girl I was before (Playboy girl) but for once in a long time I feel good and mentally healthy.

"Kids are my everything. Feeling pretty balanced. Working out and cooking a lot more. Golf, work. No housekeeper or nanny."

The screen star - who is mum to kids Hank and Alijah with her ex-husband Hank Baskett - went on to tell online trolls to leave her alone, adding: "For those of you hating on my new weight, 40 year old face please know that I’m happy, healthy and at peace in life finally.

"Leave me alone and respect that I’m where I actually want to be finally all together. Almost 40 is feeling amazing and yes to the people criticizing my alcohol intake … I hear you and that will be monitored better.

"Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much but you know what’s coming up in JUNE…. Shots. Love ya."

After finishing with reality TV, Kendra forged a new career in real estate but dipped back into TV by combining her two passions in a series called 'Kendra Sells Hollywood'.

The show was cancelled in 2023 and she later admitted she wasn't mentally ready to get back in front of the cameras again.

She told People: "I feel a little regret filming my last show because I wasn't really ready. I was a little bit off mentally. I was a little off mentally and I wasn't prepared to be on a camera just yet. I wasn't fully healed or there yet. Now I feel there."

She has since put her real estate career on the backburner to focus on being there for her kids. In a previous post on Instagram, she wrote: "My relationship with real estate has come to an end at this moment and I'm on to new projects.

"I'm blessed and thankful for all the support and mentoring I was given. Real estate is hard and I might get back into it again down the line.

"For now, its a little stressful in my life so I'm focusing on myself and kids and getting my mental health good again so I have the strength to get back in it with a good head. Love you and thank you guys."
