Tiffany Haddish 'still dating' despite being celibate for months
'Girls Trip' star Tiffany Haddish admitted she hasn't stopped dating, but she is still celibate amid her sobriety.
Tiffany Haddish hasn't stopped dating despite her ongoing celibacy.
The 44-year-old actress - who has been sober and celibate for seven months after overhauling her personal life - has admitted while she's quit sex for the time being, she still enjoys going out for a "free" dinner.
Speaking to Extra, she quipped: "I didn’t stop dating. I’m just not having intercourse, girl. I love a free meal.”
Tiffany revealed her sobriety is "going pretty good" after she decided to quit booze after being arrested on suspicion of DUI in November 2023.
She joked that the only time she'll drink again is if she gets engaged and wants to let her partner see "how crazy I get just for one day".
She said: "Not drinking any alcohol. Never doing that again unless I get engaged and I can show him how crazy I get just for one day.
“I don’t want to do it because it feels good to wake up in the morning and my elbows ain’t aching, my knees ain’t burning, and the crooks of my ankles ain’t on fire. No inflammation.”
The 'Girls Trip' star - who was married to William Stewart between 2008 and 2013 - was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) in November, after she was found asleep in her car in the middle of an intersection in Beverly Hills.
Last month, Tiffany revealed she had totally cut alcohol out of her life since her arrest.
She told People magazine at the time: "I’m very sober. I haven’t had a drink since [the incident].
"When I sit back and look at my life, everything that’s crazy that’s happened is because somebody or myself had alcohol in their system."
The actress urged her fans to "stop drinking for six months and just see how your life changes", explaing that even your relationships will get "better".
She urged: "You’re going to have your snatched body back, you’re going to see your relationships will be better and you’ll stop dealing with people you don’t need to be dealing with.
"My issue was, I was waking up next to ugly men."
She added: "[Sex and alcohol] went together. With alcohol [my mind] would just be like ‘You’re horny, let's just do it.’ [Now] I be like 'nah, nope.'"
