Miranda Cosgrove was "not disappointed" by her 30th birthday.

The 'Mother of the Bride' star hit the milestone birthday in late May 2023 while she was filming the new Netflix romcom alongside Brooke Shields, Chad Michael Murray and Rachael Harris and celebrated with her co-stars but stayed sober throughout.

She told 'Entertainment Tonight': " I know a lot of the time people are a little nervous about turning 30 and, like, moving on to a new decade. But it's been really great so far.

"My 30th birthday did not disappoint, it landed on Mother's Day and my mom came out to Thailand so it ended up being really fun, it was amazing getting to go to Thailand and do something so different.

"Since I was in Thailand, my mom came and I went out with Rachael and Sean [Teale], Rachael got me an ice cream cake and it was the nicest thing ever. She asked me a week before what kind of cake I liked and I didn't even know that's what she was asking.

"But she hunted one down! I didn't take a tequila shot and it's funny because I have a huge fear of dancing in public and when I found out I had to do it for the movie, I was so nervous!"

Meanwhile, the 'School of Rock' actress shot to fame in the early 2000s when she appeared on Nickelodeon alongside Drake Bell and Josh Peck on 'Drake and Josh' before getting her own show in the form of 'iCarly', recently wrapped up the reboot of her hit sitcom after three seasons and is hoping that one day the whole story can be tied up with a movie finale.

She said: "I had a great experience getting to come back and do it for a few seasons, for sure.

"But I'd love to still be able to wrap up the story in some way. Maybe, hopefully, someday, we'll still do it. I feel like it would probably be more along the lines of maybe a movie, that would kind of wrap it all up or something like that. So that's what I'm hoping for."
