Nikki Sixx and his wife Courtney left Los Angeles because they were "scared s***-less" during COVID.
The 65-year-old rock star tied the knot with Courtney, 38, in 2014 and the pair lived in California but the pair were so terrified of the tension there during the pandemic that they decided to move to Wyoming.
Courtney told Fox News Digital: "It's made us a lot more hearty. I think it's really brought out the best versions of ourselves for our whole family. It was just the best thing we could have done.". We were really scared s***-less of what was happening during COVID and with the rioting. We live outside of LA, and Ruby was not even one. I can say, I know I'm not alone, that I was like, 'It's the apocalypse. What is happening? We live outside of LA, and Ruby was not even one. I can say, I know I'm not alone, that I was like, 'It's the apocalypse. What is happening?"
Courtney - who has four-year-old Ruby with the Moltey Crue rocker whilst he also has Gunner, 32, Storm, 29, and Decker, 28 with his first wife Brandi Brant as well as Frankie-Jean, 26, with second wife Donna D'Errico - added that they are "so excited" to be living in Wyoming and didn't want her daughter to grow up as "entitled and spoiled" in Hollywood.
She said: "One thousand percent, we are so excited to be in Wyoming for so many reasons. I mean, all the obvious ones, that it's God's country, and it's just so gorgeous. But also I think what's really important to me —what I love about it so much is — I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if Ruby grew up being entitled and spoiled and with these trust fund babies.
"Nothing wrong with that at all. But Nikki and I weren't raised like that, and we already, we're so blessed. And she's so blessed."
