Scarlett Moffatt named newborn son after Hollywood legend
Scarlett Moffatt has revealed her newborn son is named after Gone With The Wind actor Clark Gable.
Scarlett Moffatt has revealed the Hollywood inspiration behind her newborn son's name.
The former Gogglebox star, 36, became a mother for a second time when she welcomed Clark - her second son with fiance Scott Dobinson - in early October and she's now revealed he's named after Gone With The Wind actor Clark Gable after previously naming her eldest son after The Holiday star Jude Law.
She told OK! magazine: "I was watching [the film] The Holiday all the time while I was pregnant with Jude, so he’s named after the actor Jude Law.
"And Gone With The Wind is one of my favourite movies and I really like the name Rhett [after Clark Gable's characters], but Scott wasn’t too keen.
"And I said: 'What about Clark?' After the actor Clark Gable who plays Rhett. So Clark is named after a 50s Hollywood actor."
It comes after Scarlett admitted she's loving her new family of four but it's a very busy time for her so she's decided to "embrace the chaos".
She told the Daily Mail: "Having a baby is amazing, but it's also a huge change, and I think it's important to remember to make a little time for yourself too ... "I love the idea of 'getting your pink back' after having a baby. There's a theory that flamingos lose their pink colour while caring for their chicks, before getting it back as they get older.
"I think it's such a lovely reminder that, when you're busy looking after everyone else including a newborn, it's easy to put yourself at the bottom of the list but I want to help women avoid that."
She added: "Being a mam again has been so special, and having Clark has brought a whole new kind of joy to our family. "Every stage feels a little different this time around, and I'm trying to soak up all those little moments while finding our feet as a family of four.
"It's definitely busy, but there's nothing better than having everyone together, especially as we head into our first Christmas with Clark. "For me, it's all about embracing the chaos, making memories and finding those little moments for myself along the way, too."
Scarlett announced the birth of her little boy, who is a younger brother to her three-year-old son Jude, on October 9 by sharing a picture of the new parents cuddling their newborn baby.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "Our beautiful boy is here! Clark Xander Dobinson. Arriving a little earlier than expected and not quite as straightforward as planned, our little family of four was made complete on Monday. "Our hearts have never been so full, and I’d do it all again for you, Clark."
