Scarlett Moffatt's mother-in-law died days before her grandad passed away.
Scarlett Moffatt and her fiance have been trying to find joy amid the heartbreak of losing two loved ones within a week.
The I'm A Celebrity...South Africa 2026 star announced on July 10 that her grandad died just days after Scott Dobinson's mum Janice passed away.
Amid the heartbreak, the couple - who have been together since 2018 - have found comfort by spending time with their son, Jude, three, being surrounded by their family and friends, and gearing up to welcome their second son into the world in a few months.
Scarlett, 35, took to Instagram on Wednesday (15.07.26), and posted a shot of herself and Scott smiling, enjoying precious moments with Jude and a recent 4D baby scan, with the caption: "Grief is a strange thing. It can sit heavy on your heart, yet somehow still leave room for tiny pockets of joy.
"I’m learning that smiling or laughing doesn’t mean you miss them any less - it simply means love is still finding a way to carry you forward.
"Spent the last week finding little pockets of joy in some of our favourite places.

On July 5, Scarlett took to Instagram and announced that her mother-in-law Janice had died.
The Gogglebox alum penned: "My heart is broken for Scott and all of his family at the loss of his mam Janice.
"You were the best Nanna to Jude, the kindest mother-in-law and one of the loveliest people I've ever known.
"I'm so upset that you won't get to meet your second grandson but I know you will be watching over us all, I'll forever be grateful for all the love, kindness and warmth you showed me from the very beginning, and especially for the love you gave Jude.
"You raised true gentlemen in both your boys, and that says everything about the incredible woman you were.
"We will miss you more than words can say. Sleep peacefully Janice, our Nan Jan. (sic)”
And just days later, Scarlett took to her Instagram Stories and announced the death of her grandad.
She wrote: "Unfortunately, more sad news for our family this week. My grandad Moffatt has sadly passed away.
"Me, Scott and all our family really appreciate all of the love and kindness you've shown us following the loss of Janice and now my grandad.
"Thank you so much. (sic)"
In April, Scarlett took to Instagram and announced that she and Scott are expecting their second child, describing the pregnancy as a “miracle” after a period of fertility struggles.
Scarlett said: "We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this… after everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing.”
She added: “One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother."
Scarlett went on: "And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother.”
She added: “We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible."
The following month, Scarlett revealed she is expecting a baby boy.
The TV personality told OK! magazine: “I was born to be a boy mum.
“I’m so excited. All my family and friends knew I wanted another boy.
"Of course it would’ve been wonderful to have had a girl – a healthy baby is all that matters – but my preference was a boy, to give Jude a brother. I’m just so happy for him. He’s got someone to share his life with now.”
