Love Island alum Zara Holland and her husband Elliott Love have welcomed their first child together.
Love Island's Zara Holland has welcomed her first child following a "traumatic" birth.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (14.10.26), the 31-year-old model, who took part in the ITV2 matchmaking show in 2016, announced that she and her husband Elliott Love are parents to a baby boy named Remi, and revealed that he was delivered via a C-section.
Zara shared a sweet shot of herself and Elliott walking out of hospital with their bundle of joy on her Mimi Boutique business page, with the caption: "BABY BOY (sic)."
The ladies' fashion boutique owner continued: "Hello everyone! Our gorgeous boy arrived safely into the world at 42 weeks!
"Remi Joe Love. Born on 7-10-26 weighing 8,6pounds.
"Remi is perfect in every way, I’m so lucky to be your Mummy. We love you so much my baby boy. (sic)"
But his arrival was far from straightforward.
Zara explained: "I am slowly recovering after having a c section. It’s been a little traumatic to say the least, but I'm getting stronger every day. (sic)"
She went on to share how "incredibly lucky" she and Elliott feel to have "the best family support" around them, adding that they will be forever grateful.
The beauty also expressed her thanks to those who had checked in on her recovery following her C-section, while apologising for not announcing the news sooner.
Fans flocked to the post's comments section to congratulate Zara and Elliott on becoming parents, as one penned: "Congratulations lovely. Adore Remi's name. Enjoy the baby bubble and look after yourself xxxxxx (sic)."
A second supporter typed: "Your beautiful baby boy! Wishing you all so much love, happiness and wonderful memories as you begin this exciting new chapter. Enjoy every precious moment with your gorgeous little boy! (sic)"
And a third follower wrote: "Aww finally! Congratulations to you both! What a beautiful name. Zara get plenty of rest especially when Remi sleeps xx (sic)."
In May, Zara took to Instagram to announce that she was expecting her first child.
The former Miss Great Britain posed with her hands on her bump in a garden, with the caption: "Baby Love On The Way. Due September. We are so excited and we love you so much already (sic)."
Zara and Elliott met in the summer of 2016, shortly after she walked from Love Island's Mallorca, Spain-based villa and headed home because of a family illness.
During a romantic getaway to Dubai in 2022, he popped the question, and the smitten couple tied the knot in Athens, Greece, the following year.
